We have had a very successful first week of school! There is a buzz in the hallways of excitement and smiles on faces. Everyone was eager to get back to learning. Our staff did a wonderful job welcoming our new and returning students and families.
I’d like to thank our parents for respecting our drop off/pick up procedures. Our Kiss and Ride is running smoothly. Just a reminder, the hash lines indicate a No Parking/Stopping Zone. Please proceed to the stop sign for dropping and picking up your child(ren). As always, student safety is #1.
Our first school council meeting is Sept 18 in our library. Please join us and get involved.
Some upcoming dates: Sept 18: School Council Meeting @ 7:00 (elections) 20: Terry Fox Walk. Our goal is to raise $3000.00 for cancer research. 23: PA day (no school) 30: Orange Shirt Day. Is a national movement in recognition of the resiliency and bravery of Residential School Survivors.
