Walk to School Wednesday Feb. 7

February 7th 2018 is #WinterWalkDay across Canada. It’s the perfect opportunity for parents and kids to get outside together and stretch those legs! Walk to school or at school for daily physical activity, a healthier environment, safer streets, making friends and … having fun! Walking is the simplest form of exercise and helps kids get those 60 minutes of daily physical activity they need. It’s also a great cure for those winter blues and helps students concentrate better in class.

Henderson students and families will be treated to a hot chocolate after their winter walk.

Reserved Handicap Parking

We realize that in the morning there are limited parking spaces for parents who chose to drive, park and then walk their child(ren) to their entry door. However, we ask you to respect the law reserving Handicap Parking spots for cars with the required handicap identification. We have had occasion where a designated spot was unavailable when needed. We appreciate your support.

Bus Arrivals

The buses fro RINX, Harbourfront skating and Hockey Hall of fame have arrived back at school. From the student feedback, all activities were a great success! Please pick up your students as on a regular school day at 3:20 dismissal. Students who go on the bus or walk home are status quo.
